This silver coin from France is dedicated to the Year of the Ox. Following the rat, the ox is the second of a total of 12 animals in the Chinese zodiacal calendar, which is not aligned with the sun, but with the moon instead. The motive of the coin features an ox with very large and curved horns. To the right of it, the Chinese character for "ox" can be seen. The inscription "2021 ANNÉE DU BUFFLE" is engraved on the lower edge of the coin. The reverse of the coin depicts the twelve animals of the Chinese lunar calendar with traditional Chinese artistic elements.
