This silver coin from France is dedicated to the victory of Renault as the best constructors of the Formula 1 World Championship in 2006. The motive of the proof coin features a stylized Formula 1 race car against a checkered background. Traditionally, the race winner in the Formula 1 is waved off by a black and white checkered flag. Also included in the design is the inscription "LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ", the year of issue "2007" and the denomination "1 1/2 EURO". The reverse depicts a laurel wreath and the inscriptions "MANUFACTURERS FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONS RENAULT 2006", "FIA" and "CHAMPION DU MONDE FIA 2006 DES CONSTRUCTEURS DE FORMULE 1".
