On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of "The Little Prince", the Monnaie de Paris has issued this silver coin in color. The coin was struck from 99.9% silver in proof quality. First published in 1943 in both English and French, the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry has since been loved by generations of children and adults. The story is considered to be a literary realization of moral thinking and cristism of the decline of values in society. The colorful motive of the coin shows the little Prince sitting on a book on his own planet. He is surrounded by his familiar roses, as well as the stars and the planet Saturn from outer space. The reverse shows the little prince next to the anniversary number 75. Here again he is surrounded by the stars and the planet from outer space. Along the edge of the coin, the book title "THE LITTLE PRINCE" is imprinted in four different languages. The denomination "10 EURO" and the year of the issue "2021" are also included in the design. The limited commemorative coin from France is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
