This 10 Euro silver coin has been issued by the Monnaie de Paris on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the industrial site of Pessac. Pessac is home to one of the sites of the Monnaie de Paris - the French euro coins have also been minted here since 1998. The motive shows a combination of four coins inspired by the two locations of the mint, Pessac and Paris. The denomination "10 EURO" and the inscriptions "40e ANNIVERSAIRE DU SITE INDUSTRIEL DE PESSAC" and "PREMIÈRE OUVERTURE DE MÉTALMORPHOSES" complete the design. The reverse shows the traditional depiction of the Sower in front of stylized sunbeams, as it has been minted on the franc since 1898. The limited commemorative coin in proof quality is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
