This silver coin is part of the coin series by the Monnaie de Paris, dedicated in honor of sites and landmarks listed as UNESCO World Heritage. The 2010 issue is dedicated to one of the 7 new wonders of the world - the Taj Mahal. The motive of the coin features the impressive white marble monument with the park in front of it. Below the design is the inscription "TAJ MAHAL" depicted. The reverse shows the UNESCO building in Paris, the official UNESCO logo, and the year of issue and denomination. Also included in the design is the inscription "ORGANISATION DES NATIONS UNIES POUR L'ÉDUCATION, LA SCIENCE ET LA CULTURE".
