  • 16 Gram Silver
  • Coin of the German Mint Hamburg - Mintmark J

The silver coin "Snow White" is the second issue of the series 200 Years of Grimm's Fairy Tales, which began in 2012. The timeless children's and house fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm were first published in 1812 and have been part of the World Documentary Heritage since 2005.  The motive features the main theme of the tale, the beauty contest and the envy of the Queen on the princess, without falling into clichés, and also leaves room for interpretation. The reverse shows the federal eagle, the lettering "Bundesrepublik Deutschland", denomination and currency, the mintmark "J" of the Hamburg mint, the year 2013 and the twelve European stars. The 10 Euro commemorative coin "Snow White" in proof quality is delivered in a protective coin capsule.
