The silver coin "The Wolf and the Seven Young Kids" is the 9th issue in the series "200 Years of Grimm's Fairy Tales" which started in 2012. The popular children's and house fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm were first published in 1812 and belong to the World Documentary Heritage since 2005. The coin was designed by the artist Adelheid Fuss and features the main scene of the story. The wolf is depicted as the hunter, who wants to devour the seven young kids. Also in the design included are the inscriptions "Der Wolf und die sieben Geißlein" and "Grimms Märchen". The reverse shows the federal eagle, the inscription "Bundesrepublik Deutschland", the denomination, the mint mark "D" of the German Mint in Munich, the year of issue 2020 and the twelve European stars. The edge of the coin contains the inscription in engraved detail: "Du bist der Wolf". The 20 Euro commemorative coin "The Wolf and the Seven Young Kids" in proof quality is delivered in a blistercard.
