This 20 Euro silver coin is dedicated to the 900th City Anniversary of Freiburg. Freiburg received market rights in 1120 and was thus made a city. The motive designed by the artist Bastian Prillwitz features the citizens of Freiburg in the center of the design. On the right are historical buildings and on the left is the closeness to nature depicted. Above the design, the view opens up to the castle and below are the "Freiburger Bächle" to be seen. The reverse shows the federal egale, the inscriptons "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND", the denomination and the year 2020, the twelve stars of europe and the mintmark "G" of the mint Karlsruhe. The edge of the coin contains the inscription in engraved detail: "DER BUERGER WOHL SEI OBERSTESGESETZ". The 20 Euro silver coin in proof quality is delivered in a blistercard.
