The Libertad coin in silver has been struck by the Banco de Mexico since 1982. The coin, which is also called 'Onza', has no fixed denomination and is nevertheless a legal tender in Mexico. This 2020 Libertad coin was struck from two ounces of 99.9% silver in proof quality. The motive depicts every year the goddess of victory Victoria as a symbol of Mexico's independence.
