The third issue of the The Batman™ Chibi Series is dedicated to the superhero Batman™. The coin was struck by the New Zealand Mint from one ounce of 99.9% silver in proof quality. The special feature of this coin is its special shape in "Chibi Art" style. Chibi figures are characterized by their disproportionately large head and a relatively small body. This strongly belittles the depicted characters. The unusual Chibi shape makes this silver coin a highlight for every Batman™ fan and coin collector. The reverse shows the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination and year of issue. The mintage is strictly limited to only 2,000 pieces worldwide.

"The Batman" is a US comic book adaptation which was released in cinemas on the 4th of March 2022. In the remake of the classic film, Robert Pattinson embodies the masked billionaire Bruce Wayne, who fights the dangerous underworld of Gotham City at night as Batman.
