The first issue of the new The Batman™ Chibi Series is dedicated to the criminal mastermind The Riddler™. The coin was struck by the New Zealand Mint from one ounce of 99.9% silver in proof quality. The special feature of this coin is its special shape in "Chibi Art" style. Chibi figures are characterized by their disproportionately large head and a relatively small body. This strongly belittles the depicted characters. The unusual Chibi shape makes this silver coin a highlight for every Batman™ fan and coin collector. The reverse shows the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination and year of issue. The mintage is strictly limited to only 2,000 pieces worldwide.

"The Batman" is a US comic book adaptation which was released in cinemas on the 4th of March 2022. In the remake of the classic film, Robert Pattinson embodies the masked billionaire Bruce Wayne, who fights the dangerous underworld of Gotham City at night as Batman. Known by his birth name Edward Nigma, the supervillain is one of Batman™'s most notorious villains. He is considered a master of puzzles and riddles and is known for his purple domino mask, green question mark costume and special question mark cane. Nigma delights in warning the police and Batman™ about his pranks by sending them complex clues. The Chibi coin features a new version of the trickster, adapted from the new movie "The Batman". He is depicted wearing a green military jacket, a mask and clear glasses, while holding cling wrap he uses to cover his head. The uniquely shaped The Riddler™ Chibi Coin is delivered in the original box from the New Zealand Mint including a certificate of authenticity.
