The second issue of the new Halo™ Chibi Series is dedicated to the artifical intelligence Cortana™. The coin was minted by the New Zealand Mint from one ounce of 99.9% pure silver. The distinctive feature of this coin is its special shape in "Chibi Art" style. Chibi figures are characterized by their disproportionately large head and relatively small body. This strongly belittles the depicted characters. The unusual Chibi-shape makes this silver coin a highlight for every Halo fan and coin collector. The reverse presents the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination and year of issue. Cortana™ is a copy of the mind of Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Halseys and a constant companion of the soldier John-117 on numerous missions. She is modeled after a female body and changes color depending on her mood. Pink represents flattered, green to pink indicates angry and blue/purple stands for a normal state of mind.
