The first issue of the new Harry Potter™ Chibi series is already the second Chibi-shaped coin of the New Zealand Mint and depicts Harry Potter™, the eponymous main character of the successful book and film series. The coin was struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver in proof quality. The special feature of this coin is its special shape in "Chibi Art" style. Chibi figures are characterized by their disproportionately large head and a relatively small body. This strongly belittles the depicted characters. The unusual Chibi-shape makes this silver coin a highlight for every Harry Potter™ fan and coin collector. The reverse shows the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. as well as the denomination and year of issue of the coin. The mintage is strictly limited to only 2,000 pieces worldwide.
