This cute coin is the second Christmas-themed issue of a Chibi Coin from the New Zealand Mint and features Buddy the Elf from the Christmas comedy "Elf" directed by Jon Favreau, starring Will Ferrell, James Caan and Zooey Deschanel. The coin was minted from one ounce of 99.9% silver in proof quality and features the famous main character in his iconic green and yellow elf costume. The special feature of this coin is its special shape in "Chibi Art" style. Chibi figures are characterized by their disproportionately large head and a relatively small body.
