The 17th release in the STAR WARS™ - Chibi Series is dedicated to the sinister ruler of the Galactic Empire™ Emperor Palpatine™. The coin was struck by the New Zealand Mint from one ounce of 99.9% silver in proof quality and depicts the dark Sith Lord with his pale skin and piercing yellow eyes. He is wearing his signature black hooded robe. The special feature of this coin is its special shape in "Chibi Art" style. Chibi figures are characterized by their disproportionately large head and a relatively small body. This strongly belittles the depicted characters. The unusual Chibi shape makes this silver coin a highlight for every STAR WARS™ fan and coin collector.
