The second issue of the Batman™ '66 Series features The Penguin™. Born under the civil name Oswald Cobblepot™ he was described by other children as a "Penguin" because of his waddling gait, his height and his beak-like nose. Under this synonym and with his constant companion - the umbrella - he became criminal and did his business out of the underworld of Gotham City™. On the silver coin struck in proof quality by the New Zealand Mint he is featured in his formal purple splendour with one of his crazy catchphrases. In the background umbrellas and the Bat Signal™ can be seen. The reverse shows the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The strictly limited silver coin comes in the original box of the mint including a certificate of authenticity. The coin is presented in an acrylic coin case which allows easy display.
