The first issue of the new DC Comics™ Series 60th Anniversary Justice League™ is dedicated to the princess of the Amazons - Wonder Woman™. The coin was struck by the New Zealand Mint from one ounce of 99.9% silver. The motive features Wonder Woman™ in color poised to fight. In the background is an image of her wielding Golden Lasso of Truth. The Wonder Woman™ logo completes the vintage comic design. The reverse depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination and the year of issue. Wonder Woman™ is one of the oldest superheroes in the DC universe. She was the first woman among the heroes and has been fighting evil since 1941. As a founding member she belongs to the Justice League™ since 1960. The limited Wonder Woman™ silver proof coin comes in an acrylic coin case in the original Wonder Woman™ packaging. Also included is a certificate of authenticity from the New Zealand Mint.
