Founded in 1923, the Walt Disney Company can look back on an unparalleled 100-year success story in 2023. To celebrate this special anniversary, the New Zealand Mint has issued this silver coin in the shape of a stamp. Struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver in proof quality, the motive in color depicts a scene from the 1937 animated film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". Also included in the design are the inscriptions "SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS" and "DISNEY 100 YEARS OF WONDER", as well as a Walt Disney Company stamp. The reverse shows the coat of arms of Niue, the denomination, the year of issue, as well as the weight and fineness of the coin.

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is one of the classic animated films and was released by Walt Disney in 1937. The story is based on the classic fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm and tells the story of the beautiful princess Snow White, who is pursued by her evil stepmother and finds refuge with seven good-natured dwarves. Despite the threats and intrigues, Snow White manages to overcome the villain with the help of her new friends and finds her happy ending. The limited mintage of only 2,023 pieces is based on the anniversary year of the Walt Disney Company. The silver coin in color dedicated to the 100th anniversary is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity from the New Zealand Mint.
