On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Disney cartoon "Fantasia", the New Zealand Mint has struck this coin struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver. The second coin from the series "80 Years Fantasia" features the "Dance of the Hours" - a segment from "Fantasia", which was produced by Disney™ in reference to the ballet "La Gioconda". The motive depicts the gracefully dancing 'Hyacinth Hippo' and her admirer 'Ben Ali Gator' in color. Also included in the design are the inscription "1 oz 999 Fine Silver" and the Disney™ copyright. The animated film "Fantasia" celebrated its premiere in November 1940. The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "TWO DOLLARS", "ELIZABETH II", "2020" and "NIUE". The mintage of only 1,940 pieces worldwide reflects the year the movie was released. The limited silver coin in proof quality is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity from the New Zealand Mint.
