On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Disney cartoon "Fantasia", the New Zealand Mint has struck this coin from one ounce of 99.9% silver. The animated film "Fantasia" celebrated its premiere in November 1940. The third release in the series "80 Years of Fantasia" features an image from "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", a segment in the film. In this scene Mickey™, having fallen asleep, dreams about conducting the stars. Also included in the design are the inscriptions "1 oz 999 Fine Silver" and the Disney™ copyright. The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as "TWO DOLLARS", "ELIZABETH II", "2021" and "NIUE". The limited mintage of only 1,940 pieces reflects the year of issue.
