The new Harry Potter™ Book Cover series from the New Zealand Mint is dedicated to the famous Harry Potter books. The rectangular coin was struck from two ounces of 99.9% silver in proof quality and features an image of the cover of the second volume of the Harry Potter book series, "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets". The cover shows the young wizard Harry Potter holding on to the tail of the phoenix Fawkes and looking intently at the bird. In the background you can see a wall and a snake coiled around a torch. Columns decorated with snake patterns are also depicted. The reverse shows the official Niue coat of arms as well as the year of issue “2025”, the denomination “THREE DOLLARS”, the copyright and the individual numbering of the coin.

“Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” is the second volume in the popular book series written by British author J.K. Rowling. The series follows the adventures of a young wizard named Harry Potter and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, who attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry together. In this book, Harry returns to Hogwarts for his second year. The school is soon haunted by mysterious events: students are found petrified and an ominous message appears on the wall, stating that the legendary Chamber of Secrets has been opened. The rectangular silver proof coin in color is delivered in the original box of the New Zealand Mint including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
