The series "Harry Potter™ - Magical Creatures" from the New Zealand Mint is dedicated to the magnificent creatures from the magical world of Harry Potter™. The rectangular coin was struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver in proof quality and features a depiction of the three-headed guard dog named Fluffy. Symbolic of the dog, the background was colored in emerald green. For further enhancement, three green cubic zirconia stones are incorporated. The reverse depicts the Public Seal of Niue as well as the year of issue "2023" and the denomination "TWO DOLLARS".

Fluffly is the three-headed guard dog of the Keeper of Grounds, Rubeus Hagrid™. He is the size of a room and probably descended from the genus Cerberus. In the first installment of the Harry Potter™ series, Hagrid lent the dangerous dog to Professor Dumbledore™ to guard a trapdoor in the Forbidden Corridor on the 3rd floor of Hogwarts™. Behind the trapdoor was the entrance to the top-secret chamber where Dumbledore hid the Philosopher's Stone. The rectangular silver coin is delivered in the original box of the New Zealand Mint including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
