This uniquely shaped coin in Comic Style was issued on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Shrek™. The coin replicates the Puss in Boots, who already had his first appearance in the movie "Shrek 2" (2004) and is one of the main characters from the Shrek™ movies. The cat, who speaks with a Spanish accent and is voiced by Antonio Banderas in the original, wears his characteristic clothing reminiscent of Zorro - hat, bandana, boots, cape as well as a rapier. The reverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the year of issue "2021" and the denomination "TWO DOLLARS". In the film, Puss in Boots is initially hired by Fiona's parents, who do not approve of Shrek as their son-in-law, as a hitman to kill the green ogre but is unable to complete his mission. As the plot unfolds, Shrek™ and Puss in Boots team up to fight the "fairy godmother" and her intrigues.
