The fourth issue of the Transformers series is dedicated to the leader of the Dinobots Grimlock. The design features Grimlock in the original color, as seen in the 1984 series "The Transformers". Also included in the design is the official Transformers logo and the year "1984". The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination and year of issue.

Transformers is a US animated cartoon series that was first broadcast on television in 1984. The concept is based on a toy series from the US manufacturer Hasbro. The show about Autobots and Decepticons was intended to serve as a promotional outlet for the toys and was produced by Sunbow Productions and Marvel Productions. After 98 episodes in 4 seasons, the franchise's rise into a worldwide phenomenon was unbroken. Video games, comics, more action figures, animated films and several cinema productions with well-known Hollywood actors such as Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox followed.
