This Transformers™ coin was issued by the New Zealand Mint to celebrate the release of the new film "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts", which was released in cinemas on June 6th, 2023. It is already the seventh film adaptation about the autobots. The silver coin was minted from one ounce of 99.9% silver in Antique Finish and features the Transformers™ logo in the Aztec-style. The motive in color is surrounded by the official copyright, as well as the weight and fineness of the coin. The reverse presents the coat of arms of Niue, the year of issue "2023" and the denomination "TWO DOLLARS".

With "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts," Hasbro™ is following up on the success of the previous six Transformers™ movies from 2007, 2009, 2011, 2014, 2017 and 2018. The action film tells the story revolving around the rise of Optimus Prime as the leader of the Autobots, as well as the battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons. In the process, the film introduces not only familiar faces, but also three completely new Transformer factions - the Predicons, Maximals and Terrorcons - which are also drawn into the ancient conflict.
