This Lunar Coin of the New Zealand Mint is dedicated to the Year of the Rabbit, which begins on the 3rd of February 2023. The motive of the coin struck from 99.9% silver shows a rabbit in blue and pink toned colors. An engraving of floral motives is visible in the background, as well as an ornamental border on the edge of the coin. The Chinese character for "Rabbit" and the inscription "YEAR OF THE RABBIT" are also part of the design.
