The 15th issue in the STAR WARS™ Classics Series is dedicated to the Rebel Alliance General Lando Calrissian™. The coin was struck by the New Zealand Mint from 1 Oz silver in proof quality. The motive features Lando in the iconic carbonite freezing scene from the movie STAR WARS: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back™ - when Darth Vader™ freezes Han Solo™ in carbonite. The inscription "1 oz 999 Fine Silver" and the copyright are also part of the coin design. The reverse depicts the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "NIUE", "TWO DOLLARS" and "2020". Lando Calrissian™ was the Baron of the Cloud City on the planet Bespin and a professional gambler. He was the original owner of the Millennium Falcon™, which he lost while gambling to Han Solo™. After Lando had betrayed his old friends to Darth Vader™, he finally switched to the side of the rebels to fight together with them.
