This special edition of the Star Wars™ - Posters Series is dedicated to the first film in the legendary Star Wars™ saga. Released in 1977, the science fiction film STAR WARS - Episode IV - A new Hope™ is the fourth episode of the Star Wars™ saga. This rectangular silver coin features a replica image in color of the original poster for the Episode IV. The story is about the young Luke Skywalker™, who accidentally discovers a secret message and looks for the actual recipient of the message - the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi™. He instructs Luke, who suddenly finds himself on the side of the rebels, on the basics of force. A similar coin was released in 2017 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the movie. Using a combination of color and engraving, the design of the 2020 edition was improved by the New Zealand Mint. The limited Star Wars™ silver coin is packaged in a perspex coin case and comes in a STAR WARS™ themed outer box with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
