The third release in the Series 'Fairy Tales' of the Lithuanian Mint was struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver and is dedicated to the childhood fairy tale "Magical Nanny". The motive features a colorful depiction of the extraordinary nanny floating over the rooftops of a city with the help of an umbrella in rainbow colors. The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination and the year of issue. "The Magical Nanny" tells the story of a very talented nanny with supernatural abilities as well as great emotional empathy and strength. With the help of her partly strange but very effective methods, she is able not only to successfully master child rearing, but at the same time to positively influence the relationship between parents and children. Thus, the coin as a whole highlights the important place of the family in our society and reminds us of values such as understanding, trust and genuine care. At the same time, it emphasizes the relevance of childhood, which can have a significant influence on the kind of person we develop into later. To pick up on the idea of the fairy tale story, the visual design of the packaging was adapted to the "magical" theme of the coin.
