The fourth and final release in the series Heavenly Archangels from the New Zealand Mint is dedicated to the Archangel Uriel. The motive of the rectangular coin in color shows a depiction of the Archangel as seen on a glass window in Hull Minster, Great Britain. The image dates from 1920 and was created by Mary Hutchinson. Along with Gabriel, Michael, and Raphael, Uriel is regarded as one of the seraphim who always surround God. The name Uriel comes from the Hebrew and literally means "light of God". Uriel is considered to be the archangel who reveals divine secrets to mankind. He is the patron saint of doctors, nurses, teachers and artists. The motive features a typical representation of Uriel with a flame. The reverse depicts the Ian Rank Broadley portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the year of issue and the denomination. The limited coin struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity from the New Zealand Mint.
