The New Zealand Mint has dedicated the second issue of the new Tarot Card Series to the card with the number one in the Major Arcana - the Magician. The rectangular coin was struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver in proof quality and features a colorful depiction of the Magician. The number "I" and the inscription "THE MAGICIAN" are also part of the design. The reverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the year of issue "2021" and the denomination "2 DOLLARS".
