The inscription "Isfahan" completes the design. The Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque was built between 1603 and 1619 and is one of the masterpieces of Iranian architecture. The impressive building is located on the east side of Naghsh-e Jahan Square in Isfahan, which is also known as Imam Square.
