Struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver in proof quality, the motive features a depiction of Daffy Duck™ with clenched fists, hunched shoulders and a grim expression. In the background are the familiar circles of the Looney Tunes. The inscription "DAFFY DUCK", the copyright and the weight and fineness are also included in the design. The reverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the official coat of arms of Samoa, the denomination and the year of issue.

Daffy Duck™ is one of the main characters of the Looney Tunes™, which also includes the rabbit Bugs Bunny™, the cat Sylvester™ and the canary Tweety™. Daffy Duck made his first appearance back in 1937 - back then, Porky Pig was his antagonist. The character type of Daffy Duck was completely new at the time and met with enthusiasm among viewers. After the character was interpreted differently over the years, his role as the antagonist of Bugs Bunny finally prevailed. Character-wise, Daffy Duck is characterized by his grumpy nature and jealous behavior. He often vies with Bugs Bunny for attention and is always recognizable by his black plumage and distinctive lisping voice.
