The Series "Legends of Music" is a tribute to the greatest musicians of our time. This colored silver coin was struck from 99.9% silver and is dedicated to Elvis Presley. The motive of the coin, whose design was based on a record, features a depiction of the "King of Rock 'n' Roll" in his iconic white suit. The image was penned by the famous New York artist Sidney Randolph "Sid" Maurer, whose signature also appears on the coin. The inscriptions "Legends of Music," "© Celebrity Icons" and "Sid Maurer Artwork of Elvis Presley" are also included in the design. The reverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the weight, fineness, denomination, state of issue and year of issue.
