The gilded silver coin celebrates the 25th anniversary of the popular African Wildlife series. The African Wildlife Series is characterized by an annually changing motive and is very popular with investors worldwide. Struck from one kilo of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality, the coin depicts the African Wildlife Elephant motive from 2023 in the center, which is surrounded by the previously released issues in smaller designs, making a total of 25 gilded elephant designs on the coin. At the edge of the coin are the inscriptions "AFRICAN WILDLIFE" and "ELEPHANT", "1 kg" and the fineness "Ag 999.9" as well as the 25th anniversary emblem. The reverse features the Somalian state coat of arms, which depicts a shield with a star supported by two leopards. Below this symbol are two traditional spears and two Palm leaves and the inscriptions "SOMALI REPUBLIC 2023 2.000 SHILLINGS". The mintage of this anniversary issue is strictly limited to 250 pieces worldwide.
