This unique silver coin set contains the first issue of the new "Big Five Series" from the South African Mint twice. The Big Five series is dedicated to the African wild animals - Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Rhinoceros and Buffalo. Both silver coins show the portrait of a full-grown elephant and the coat of arms of South Africa. Two half elephant heads are shown on the obverse. If you place the two coins next to each other, you will see a full elephant's head. In the center of each coin is the denomination FIVE RAND, the weight 1OZ and the fineness Ag 999. The Big Five Elephant silver coin set is presented in a double coin capsule and a noble wooden box. The wooden tray with the two coins can be removed and you can choose which side you want to present.
