She is depicted with crown, scepter and orb. The inscription "QUEEN ELIZABETH II" is located along the left edge of the coin. Elizabeth II was born Elizabeth Alexandra Mary of the House of Windsor in London on April 21, 1926. On February 6, 1952, she first ascended the throne at the age of 25 and was crowned queen 70 years ago, on June 2, 1953, at Westminster Abbey. She was constitutional monarch of 16 sovereign states known as "Commonwealth Realms," including their territories and dependent territories, head of the 53-state Commonwealth of Nations, and secular head of the Anglican Church of England. Queen Elizabeth II was the longest reigning monarch to date and the first ever to celebrate a platinum jubilee. She died at the age of 96 surrounded by her closest family members at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. As a result of her death, her son, King Charles III, took over the regency from then on. Limited to 1,953 pieces worldwide, the silver coin with rose gold plating is delivered in the original box including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
