The reverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination, fineness and year of issue. Casino Royale™ is the 21st James Bond film adaptation released in 2006. Like its predecessors, Casino Royale™ is based on the novel of the same name by author Ian Fleming. In the movie, James Bond is tasked with defeating terror financier Le Chiffre in a large-scale poker game in order to ruin him financially and draw his boss out. When he succeeds, Le Chiffre has Bond's mistress, Vesper Lynd, kidnapped in front of him. After Bond is also captured and they both escape, Bond wants to quit his job for her sake. When Vesper is blackmailed into kidnapping a friend, she betrays Bond and does not deposit the winnings earned into the Treasury's account. The film ends with Bond tragically losing her - however, he is able to track down and wound the mysterious "Mr. White".
