The silver coin is dedicated to the James Bond movie - Octopussy™. James Bond™ is a fictional British Secret Service Agent - also known as 007™. He first appeared on the screen in 1962 with the film "Dr. No™". Almost 60 years later, the adventures of James Bond™ still entertain the audiences around the world. The coin was struck from a 1/2 ounce of 99.99% pure silver and is limited to only 12,007 pieces worldwide. The motive features the original image of the movie poster with the main actor Roger Moor and Swedish actress Maud Adams in color. The design is completed by the iconic Bond 007 gun logo, a stylized gun barrel and the movie title. The reverse depicts the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination, fineness and year of issue. Octopussy™ is the thirteenth James Bond film adaptation from 1983. The plot is based on the two short stories "Octopussy" and "The Property of a Lady" by author Ian Fleming. The movie begins with the discovery of the murdered Agent 009, who was found with a copy of a Fabergé egg in his hand. In order to solve the murder of his colleague, Bond attends the next auction and follows the Prince Khan from India, who has purchased the genuine egg for a priceless sum. His journey leads him to the mysterious Octopussy and the murderer of Agent 009.
