The silver coin is dedicated to the 60th Anniversary of the James Bond movie - Dr. No™. James Bond™ is a fictional British Secret Service Agent - also known as 007™. He first appeared on the screen in 1962 with the film "Dr. No™". More than 50 years later, the adventures of James Bond™ still entertain the audiences around the world. The coin was struck by the Perth Mint from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver. The coin’s design portrays a colorful image of James Bond and Honey Ryder against the backdrop of a tropical beach. Also included in the design is the inscription "Dr. No" in color, as well as the Bond family crest with the motto "ORBIS NON SUFFICIT" (The world is not enough). The reverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination, the fineness and the year of issue.

Based on the 1958 novel by Ian Fleming, Bond tries to solve the murder of MI6 employee John Strangways and his secretary. The 007 portrayed by Sean Connery discovers a trail that leads him together with Felix Leiter and Quarrel to Jamaica and to the mysterious Dr. No. The limited James Bond™ silver proof coin is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity from the Perth Mint.
