The silver coin set is a tribute to Roger Moore and honors the James Bond™ films in which the charismatic actor from London played the MI6 agent. The set contains a total of eight coins, seven of which were each minted from 1/2 ounce of silver and colored. The motifs show various portrayals of Roger Moore in his role as James Bond™ as well as the respective titles of the films in which he played Bond™. The set also includes a 24-carat partially gold-plated 1 Oz silver coin in color. The obverse of the 1 oz coin in proof quality is plated with 24-carat gold. It features a sepia-toned image of Roger Moore, showing him in an iconic Bond pose. The design also includes the inscriptions of his seven film titles and the 007 weapon logo. The reverse shows the portrait of King Charles III as well as the weight, face value, fineness and year of issue. The reverse of the 1/2 ounce silver coins feature the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the weight, face value, fineness and year of issue. All coins in the set were struck by the Perth Mint from 99.99% silver in proof quality.
