The silver coin set is a tribute to Sir Sean Connery and honors the James Bond™ films in which the charismatic actor from Scotland played the MI6 agent. The set contains a total of seven coins, six of which were each struck from a 1/2 ounce of silver and colored. Each motive shows various portrayals of Sean Connery in his role as James Bond™ as well as the respective titles of the films in which he played Bond™. The set also includes a 24-karat partially gilded 1 oz silver coin in color, featuring a depiction of Sean Connery as James Bond leaning casually against the iconic Aston Martin DB5 with one hand resting on the hood. The reverse shows the portrait of King Charles III as well as the weight, denomination, fineness and year of issue. The reverse sides of the 1/2 ounce silver coins show the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the weight, denomination, fineness and year of issue. All coins in the set were struck by the Perth Mint from 99.99% silver in proof quality.
