The silver coin is dedicated to Patrick Star™, who is Spongebob Squarepants' best friend and one of the protagonists from the series of the same name. The coin was struck by the Perth Mint from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality. The motive depicts a colorful image of Patrick Star fishing for jellyfish. Jellyfish and various sea creatures are depicted in the background. A signpost with the inscription “Jellyfish Fields” marks the location. The official logo of “Spongebob SquarterPants” is also part of the design. The reverse features the Jody Clark portrait of King Charles III as well as the weight, fineness, denomination and year of issue.
