The design features a colorful depiction of a dragon at night. The majestic creature is enthroned on a Gothic building with its wings spread out. Flames emerge from the dragon's glowing jaw. The reverse shows the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, supplemented with the years of her reign, as well as the weight, fineness, denomination and year of issue.
