The "Gods of Olympus" series by the Perth Mint made the Antique Finish popular in 2014. The coins were highly demanded and sold out quickly within a very short time. Now the Greek gods are returning with a new edition of the series. The first issue is dedicated to Zeus, the supreme Olympic god in Greek mythology. The motive of the coin depicts an iconic representation of Zeus with his thunderbolt. Classic attributes that are also featured are the lightning bolt and an eagle flying over the shoulder of the father of gods. The inscription "ZEUS" and the mint mark "P" of the Perth Mint are also included in the design. The reverse shows the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as well as the denomination, weight, fineness and year of issue of the coin. In addition to his dominion over Olympus, Zeus is also the god of morality, justice and destiny. He controls the Titans and divides the universe among his brothers and sisters. Zeus is characterized by more power and strength than all other gods combined. Only his daughters, the Moirai, rank above him in the order of precedence, as they embody the inevitable fate, which even Zeus cannot influence. The limited Antique Finish coin struck from 99.99% pure silver is delivered in a protective capsule.
