The silver coin is dedicated to the Platinum jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver in proof quality, the motive features a colorful image of Queen Elizabeth II. She wears a purple coat and a hat in matching color. Surrounding the portrait are gold-colored bands with the inscriptions "QUEEN ELIZABETH II" - "PLATINUM JUBILEE". The reverse shows the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Her Majesty, as well as the year of issue, the weight and the fineness. 70 years ago - on February 6, 1952 - Elizabeth II ascended the throne for the first time at the age of 25 and was crowned queen at Westminster Abbey on June 2, 1953. The ceremony, with the exception of the anointing and communion, was televised for the first time. Since then, Elizabeth II has been the constitutional monarch of 16 sovereign states known as "Commonwealth Realms," including their territories and dependent territories. She is also head of the 53-state Commonwealth of Nations and secular head of the Anglican Church of England. Queen Elizabeth II is the longest reigning monarch to date and the first to celebrate such an anniversary. The silver coin for the Platinum jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II is limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide and will be delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
