Tim Burton's Disney™ film classic The Nightmare Before Christmas™ premiered on cinema screens in 1993 and is considered a "masterpiece of surreal cinema". Up to twelve stop-motion movements were required for a single second in the film and a total of 109,440 frames were shot for the production.
