The Premium Bullion Coin struck from 99.99% pure gold is the sixth release in the Mandala Wildlife Series and is dedicated to the Antelope. The motive features a detailed image of the Antelope in an extraordinary mandala design. Additionally, the denomination, fineness and weight are depicted. The reverse shows the coat of arms of the Republic of Chad - a shield held by a goat and a lion. Below the shield is a medal and the French national motto "Unité, Travail, Progrès" (English: "Unity, work, progress"). The antelope is native to Africa and Asia and belongs to the order of the cloven-hoofed animals. They live in herds and can be found in a wide variety of habitats such as tropical forests or dry deserts. The largest antelope species is the eland, where the male can weigh up to 900 kilograms.
