The African Wildlife series from Somalia is characterized by an annually changing motive and is extremely popular with collectors and investors worldwide. The coin depicts the African Wildlife Elephant design from 2022, which shows a mother elephant with her baby wandering through the African steppe. At the edge of the coin are the inscriptions "AFRICAN WILDLIFE" and "ELEPHANT", "1 oz" and the fineness "Pt 999.5". The reverse features the Somalian state coat of arms, which depicts a shield with a star supported by two leopards.
