The Indian cobra (Naja Naja) - a poisonous snake found on the Indian subcontinent - is considered a symbol of luck and wisdom. Furthermore, in Indian mythology it is an attribute of the Hindu god Shiva. On average, the snake reaches a length of 2 meters, making it one of the largest venomous snakes, which are common from the southern Himalayas to Sri Lanka.
